Chatting With Sherri welcomes artist and Illustrator and Grand Prize winner; Anh Le!
I'd like you to consider doing a story on Kansas City artist, Mr. Anh Le. He is the grand winner in our international illustration contest, The Illustrators of the Future and was announced at the awards event on October 22nd at The Taglyan Complex in Hollywood.  Anh was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and is a graduate of Kansas City Art Institute.
The Contest has flown him to Hollywood for a week-long professional workshop, an awards event and his art has been published in our bestselling anthology, L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume 36, which has been on the bestseller lists numerous times in recent years and will be officially released on Nov. 2nd!
Mr. Le won the grand prize trophy, The Golden Brush award, and a cash prize of $5,000 and his winning art is published in the bestselling anthology, L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume 37.

John and I discuss about New Years Resolutions and fear stops us from going forward with the tasks that we set for ourselves.  And how it is best to find positive voices especially as a writer to reach your goals.  Writers Of The Future is a very positive group and it helps launch new writers with no bias about who they are or where they are from or anything.  The only requirement is to write a short story to the best of your ability.
John Goodwin, President Galaxy Press, has been involved with book publishing since 1986, publishing all the fiction works of bestselling author L. Ron Hubbard which includes the internationally acclaimed Writers of the Future anthology, now completing its 36th year. He has been a board member of the Audio Publishers Assn, a national organization of the audio publishing industry. He has become very active in the Hollywood community the past several years as a Board member of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and as a Board member of the Friends of Hollywood Central Park (an organization creating a 38-acre park over the Hollywood Freeway) and President of the Hollywood Christmas Parade, and an Honorary Commander with the new United States Air Force. Barbara Lund was announced as the grand prize winner of the Writers and Illustrators of the Future contest for 2021 (Volume 37) on Oct. 22nd, 2021 at the L. Ron Hubbard Achievement Awards Event at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood, California earning her The Golden Pen Award trophy and a cash prize of $5,000.  Barbara was paired with artist and Illustrators of the Future winner, Mr. Will Knight of Los Angeles, California and this is the illustration Will created for Barbara's story, "Sixers".
