Chatting With Sherri welcomes award-winning Costume Designer; Marion Boyce!
 Marion's most recent award for her work was on the movie; "The Dressmaker." She has been working in this industry for many years, including the popular Australian series, "Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries!" Marion's career and her passion for Costume Design is very inspiring. 
Marion Boyce was nominated for 2015 AACTA Award for Best Costume Design in a Television Series for Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes author Katherine Kovacic about her novelization of Ms. Fisher Modern Murder Mysteries; Just Murdered!
Katherine was a veterinarian but preferred training and having fun with dogs to taking their temperatures.  Katherine spends her spare time writing, dancing and teaching other people’s dogs to ride skateboards.
A research geek, Katherine is currently fired up by the history of human relationships with animals, particularly as they appear in art. Her first book, The Portrait of Molly Dean, was shortlisted for a Ned Kelly Award for best first fiction. Her latest novel; "Just Murdered; Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries Book #1!"
 
Peregrine Fisher is unexpectedly summoned to a meeting of the Adventuresses' Club of the Antipodes, where she learns some incredible news.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes award winning illustrator Andre Mata!
 Lisbon artist, Andre Mata attracted to the visual arts, he started drawing from an early age, inspired by stories, movies, video games, and subjects that kindled his interest and fueled his imagination.
After studying illustration at university, he has invested in independent studies with books, the online community, blogs, articles, and video tutorials, while continuing to draw and paint. He shifts between observational and imaginative work, constantly developing and improving his craft.
Inspired by nature and its endless moods, his main goal is the development of imagery that triggers an emotional response and lingers in a person’s memory, weaving realism with imagination.
Working with traditional media, he develops realistic renderings, paying attention to the light, colors, shapes, and forms, attempting to capture the mood or feeling of the moment in a single image.
Influenced by classic literature, the Golden Age of Illustration, and imaginative realism, he works in the science fiction and fantasy field, as well as landscape, portraiture, and animal painting.
The Writers and Illustrators of the Future Contest; one of the most prestigious writing and illustrating competitions in the world, is currently in its 38th year and is judged by some of the premier names in speculative fiction.

Chatting With Sherri interviews pulp fiction journalist and historian as well as editor, author, and publisher of Murania Press, Ed Hulse!
Ed Hulse is an award-winning journalist and historian who specializes in documenting American popular culture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. For several years his video reviews and articles on film history were syndicated by the Washington Post Writers Group. Between 2002 and 2016 he edited and published BLOOD 'N' THUNDER, a quarterly journal catering to enthusiasts of vintage American popular fiction and related storytelling mediums such as motion pictures, stage melodrama, and Old Time Radio. His books include DISTRESSED DAMSELS AND MASKED MARAUDERS, THE BLOOD 'N' THUNDER GUIDE TO PULP FICTION, THE FILMS OF BETTY GRABLE, and FRANCES DEE: A FILM HISTORY, among others. He is also the co-editor of DON MILLER'S HOLLYWOOD CORRAL, A COMPREHENSIVE B-WESTERN ROUNDUP and THE ART OF THE PULPS.

Chatting with Sherri welcomes award winning author; Tim Powers!
Tim Powers is the author of numerous novels including Hide Me Among the Graves, Three Days to Never, Declare, Last Call, and On Stranger Tides, which inspired the feature film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. He has won the Philip K. Dick Memorial Award twice, and the World Fantasy Award three times. 
In 1976 his first two novels, The Skies Discrowned and Epitaph in Rust were published. Tim’s subsequent novels are The Drawing of the Dark, The Anubis Gates (winner of the Philip K. Dick Memorial Award and the Prix Apollo), Dinner at Deviant’s Palace (winner of the Philip K. Dick Memorial Award), On Stranger Tides (the novel the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, was based on) The Stress of Her Regard, Last Call (winner of the World Fantasy Award), Expiration Date, Earthquake Weather, Declare (winner of the World Fantasy Award) and Three Days to Never.
His most recent book is Hide Me Among the Graves. The Manchester Guardian called Powers “the best fantasy writer to appear in decades.” Tim has taught at the Clarion Science Fiction Writers’ Workshop at Michigan State University six times and currently teaches the annual Writers of the Future workshop. He has been involved with the Contest since its early years, serving as one of the instructors (along with Algis Budrys and Orson Scott Card) at the very first official WotF workshop in Sag Harbor. He was formally inducted as a judge in 1993. Powers lives with his wife, Serena, in San Bernardino, California.

Chatting With Sherri chats about a new anthology with Scot Noel and Angela Yuriko Smith!
Scot Noel created DreamForge Magazine in 2019. He has been published in Eden Studios Zombie anthologies, Algis Budrys’ Tomorrow Speculative Fiction magazine, and has written novellas and interaction text for computer games.  Tangent, the genre's premiere review magazine for short SF & Fantasy, listed 20 DreamForge stories on their 2020 Recommended Reading List.
Angela Yuriko Smith is an American poet, publisher, and author. Her first collection of poetry, In Favor of Pain, was nominated for a 2017 Elgin Award. Her latest novella, Bitter Suites, is a 2018 Bram Stoker Awards® Finalist. She co-publishes Space and Time magazine with her husband Ryan Aussie Smith.  Space & Time is a 53-year-old publication dedicated to fantasy, horror and science fiction.
