Chatting With Sherri welcomes award winning artist; Bruce Brenneise!
Bruce Brenneise is an award-winning illustrator for the Writers and Illustrators of the Future contest! His passion is for world-building through vibrant, epic and strange environments, helping clients flesh out ambitious stories and excite their fans. He's best known for his work on games such as Numenera and Slay the Spire. He lives in Seattle with his wife, son, and carnivorous plants.
Bruce Brenneise grew up in the countryside by Lake Michigan; nature and fantasy were two of his main interests from the beginning. He continued to not-so-secretly focus on magic, monsters, and myths while studying scientific illustration at the University of Michigan. Pursuit of diverse environments and experiences led him around the world in search of artistic inspiration: a field sketching trip to southern Africa, months amidst ancient ruins of Anatolia, not to mention six years working and traveling throughout China and other parts of East Asia. The landscapes he has explored and the vistas one can only find in fiction are at the heart of Bruce's current work as an illustrator and independent artist.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes author Stacey L Tucker!
The Equal Night Trilogy is a romantic adventure that speaks to the longing in the hearts of women. Once the Greeks forced their male gods upon the world, the belief in the power of women was severed. For centuries it has been thought that the wisdom of the high priestesses perished at the hand of the patriarchs—but the ancient Book of Sophia, which contains the sacred knowledge needed for the coming age, is out there. And it is looking for Skylar Southmartin. This new adult fantasy series takes our protagonist, Skylar, on a journey through Fire, Air, and Water as she races to fulfill her task: find the Book of Sophia, return the heart of humanity to wholeness, and return the United States to a trajectory toward its true destiny—becoming the New Atlantis. Along the way, she discovers shocking truths about her family, recovers lost love, and, time and again, faces tests of her loyalties, her courage, and her strength of will. A new adult fantasy series that calls on readers to embrace their sexuality and their shadow self,  The Equal Night Trilogy is a tribute to the extraordinary power of mothers, daughters, wives, and women of the twenty-first century—and a reminder that the future depends on the choices we make now.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes back author Peter Wacks!
Caller of Lightning; When Halley's Comet blazed across the sky in 1759, onlookers saw a sight far more spectacular--and disastrous--than they ever could have imagined. Destroyed in a magical battle, the comet is rent in two and appears to strike Earth. The event is known as The Sundering, the moment in which the Old World is separated from the New, perhaps permanently isolating the Americas. What's more, The Sundering has brought magic into the world--creatures from folklore and fairy tales come to life, along with wizardry and magework unlike anything seen outside of legend. The New World is now far stranger than before, and the Europeans, Africans, and Indigenous peoples on the American continent must forge new bonds if they are to survive. So, when magic returns to the world of the 1700s, who does the world turn to for help? None other than the father of electricity himself: Benjamin Franklin! But Franklin is in for a shock if he thinks his knowledge of science will prepare him for the world of magic. The master once more becomes the apprentice. But Franklin must learn his spells fast, for he is far from the only one studying magic.
