Chatting With Sherri welcomes back author Peter Wacks!
Caller of Lightning; When Halley's Comet blazed across the sky in 1759, onlookers saw a sight far more spectacular--and disastrous--than they ever could have imagined. Destroyed in a magical battle, the comet is rent in two and appears to strike Earth. The event is known as The Sundering, the moment in which the Old World is separated from the New, perhaps permanently isolating the Americas. What's more, The Sundering has brought magic into the world--creatures from folklore and fairy tales come to life, along with wizardry and magework unlike anything seen outside of legend. The New World is now far stranger than before, and the Europeans, Africans, and Indigenous peoples on the American continent must forge new bonds if they are to survive. So, when magic returns to the world of the 1700s, who does the world turn to for help? None other than the father of electricity himself: Benjamin Franklin! But Franklin is in for a shock if he thinks his knowledge of science will prepare him for the world of magic. The master once more becomes the apprentice. But Franklin must learn his spells fast, for he is far from the only one studying magic.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes; Producer/Creator/Co-Writer/Author;David Oman!
One of the most gruesome and notorious murders of our time was committed on AUGUST 8th,1969 when Charles Manson’s “Family” descended on Roman Polanski’s residence on Cielo Drive in Beverly Hills and brutally murdered 5 people including Polanski’s wife, actress Sharon Tate. While the original house no longer exists, filmmaker David Oman built his house a mere 150 feet from the site where the grisly murders took place. Oman is convinced that the murder victims still haunt his residence to this day. And he is not the only one. Paranormal experts and psychics from the world over have visited Oman’s residence and have dubbed it “The Mount Everest of haunted houses” and “The D-land for the Dead” for the amount of paranormal activity that occurs there.
DAVID OMAN (Producer/Creator/Co-Writer/Author) A native of Los Angeles, Oman has been intrigued by the paranormal from his early childhood and has been curious about the Spirit World ever since. In 1999 Oman with his father started to build the house on Cielo Drive, just down the drive from the infamous Sharon Tate Murders aka the Manson Murders – He just completed his first book, Ghosts of Cielo Drive, the Afterlife of Sharon Tate and the Spirits of the Oman House. After 2 years of living in the house he created a story based upon his experiences in the home with the activity, titled House at the End of the Drive. It was shot on location at his home and brought his story to life.

Sandra Shaw Homer has lived in Costa Rica for 29 years, where she has taught languages and worked as a translator and environmental activist. For several years she wrote a regular column, "Local Color," for the English-language weekly, The Tico Times.
Her memoir Evelio's Garden is a lyrical meditation on organic gardening, cultural values, friendship, aging, loss, and, ultimately, the healing power of the natural world. Evelio teaches her about the rural sustainability of Costa Rica in decades past. Pulling her into the daily ups and downs of his project, he creates an often funny, always frustrating, and ultimately rewarding counterpoint to her own work, such that the two intertwine on the page...and lead her to confront a difficult past and open up to profound personal change.
