Todd Lockwood is an illustrator and author, whose work has appeared on NY Times best-selling novels, magazines, video games, collectible card games, and fantasy role-playing games. It has been honored with multiple appearances in Spectrum and the Communication Arts Illustration Annual, and with numerous industry awards. Chatting With Sherri welcomes back Emmy Winning Producer,Writer and Author Brooks Wachtel!
Brooks is a very talented and diverse man who won an Emmy Award for screenwriting for the animated hit series Tutenstein! Brooks is an Emmy Award-winning writer with a long resume in TV and film. Wachtel has written more than 100 produced episodes of television fiction. In addition to episodes of X-Men, he has written shows as diverse as Fox’s live-action Young Hercules (starring Ryan Gosling) and animated hits like Spider-Man, Heavy Gear, Robo-Cop, Beast Machines: Transformers and PBS’ Liberty’s Kids. For younger viewers, he penned episodes of the pre-school hits, Clifford the Big Red Dog and Rainbow Fish. Wachtel's episode, "I Did it My Way," for Tutenstein won an Emmy Award.
For The History Channel, he co-created and executive produced the hit series DogFights. Wachtel also wrote and produced other documentaries for that network, including episodes of Defending America: National Guard and The Coast Guard. Additionally, he wrote The Great Ships, Search and Rescue, The Royal Navy and Fly Past, which won the Cine Golden Eagle Award. Wachtel recently co-wrote and co-produced Silver Tsunami, an award-winning independent theatrical documentary.
Now he is an author of Lady Sherlock, LADY NATASHA (TASHA) DORRINGTON, an emancipated and brilliant detective in 1906 London, is drawn into a deadly mystery involving an ancient pagan curse and a diabolical plan to plunge the world into war. And he is hard at work on the sequel.
He also serves on the Steering Committee of the Animation Writers Caucus of the Writers Guild of America, West; as well as teaching screenwriting at UCLA Extension. He is a performing magician member of Hollywood’s Magic Castle.

Tom's won best thriller in the Los Angeles Film Awards for his classically inspired 1940’s noir feature, TROUBLE IS MY BUSINESS. Directed by and starring Thomas Konkle, the film follows Roland Drake, a Los Angeles Private Investigator trying to untangle a mystery that only lands him in deep trouble. And Brittney Powell won the Stella Adler award for acting in film!

Chatting With Sherri welcome authors and writer of the future winners; Eric and Darci Stone!
Eric won 2nd place in his quarter in volume 21 (2005). Darci won 1st place in her quarter, plus the grand prize for the year in volume 34 (2018).
Darci Stone graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Physics Teaching and a minor in Cultural Anthropology. Her story, “Mara’s Shadow,” was strongly influenced by both her love of science and her love of world cultures. Darci lived at a boarding school in Singapore while attending the United World College of Southeast Asia on scholarship. She also taught English in Russia, and has participated in humanitarian aid projects in India and Cambodia. She currently teaches high school physics in American Fork, Utah and is a web developer for online educational software.
A Nebula Award winner, Hugo Award nominee, and winner in the Writers of the Future Contest, Eric James Stone has had stories published in Year’s Best SF 15, Analog, Nature, and Kevin J. Anderson’s Blood Lite anthologies of humorous horror, among other venues.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes author Brenda E. Cortez!
Brenda E. Cortez donated her kidney to another mom 14 years ago and has since had a passion for raising awareness for organ donation. This passion has also led to her writing children’s books on the topic to help children understand better and relate.
Brenda believes in being kind and helping others so she created her book character around that topic. Howl the Owl™ is character in Brenda’s books and his name stands for Help Others With Love! Visit howltheowl.com for more information about Brenda, her books and her mission.
Howl the Owl is a plush animal as well, and has been traveling the world with families who have been hosting him. He also has his regular Facebook page to highlight all things Howl, as well as Instagram and Twitter. He is a mascot now too! The mascot has been traveling with me to different organ donation events this year in Vegas, Iowa and Ohio.

Ian L Sitren is a multi-talented photographer he creates amazing pictures of athletes, models, actors and planes!
He is the official photographer for the Palm Springs Air Museum. CNN lists it as one of the best Air Museums in the world. It is also a rarity because it is a flying museum.
"As a little boy I used to build military aircraft models and hang them from the ceiling in my room."

Scot Noel is one of the winners of Writers of the Future, Vol 6, back in 1990. He created DreamForge Magazines. He contributed stories to Eden Studios Zombie anthologies. He has stories in Algis Budrys’ Tomorrow Magazine, which is a bit of an inspiration for DreamForge. Also he worked on several Computer Games.
