Chatting With Sherri welcomes chart-topping Texas country music artist Jake Bush!
Chart-topping Texas country music artist Jake Bush announced the release of  “Somewhere Better To Be.” A genuine purveyor of timeless, boot-scootin'' country tunes, perfectly suited for the loyal honky-tonk faithful. Download and stream the new music.
“I knew the second I heard the hook of this song that I was living it. Being newly married and 2.5 years sober, I really spend my time differently off the road. I’d rather be on the couch with my wife & dog instead of in the barroom on a day off. That is my "somewhere better to be,” expressed Jake Bush.
“2024 is going to be a great year. Not only is there new music but I have a new team, and there is excitement building all around. Y'all be sure to stay tuned,” exclaimed Jake Bush.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes back multi-talented photographer; Ian L. Sitren!
Ian L Sitren is a multi-talented photographer. He creates amazing pictures of fast food, athletes, models, actors and aircraft! "As a little boy I used to build military aircraft models and hang them from the ceiling in my room. Now I get to photograph them and fly in historic and military airplanes from World War II and many others.”
Inspired by the controversy surrounding fast food photography, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Critics seemed intent on making fast food look unappealing by squashing burgers and manipulating the presentation. On the other hand, advertising images are meticulously staged and often unrealistic. I chose to photograph the food exactly as it comes out of the bag, against a simple black background, capturing its true form. To my surprise, the food actually looks quite appealing. I am now planning to create large-scale photographs for an exhibit, along with an accompanying photo book, offering what might be a historical perspective on fast food.
"Photo excursions started out a few years ago with me just looking for interesting shoot locations. Then a couple of my friends wanted to come along so they became road trips for the purpose of finding the odd and unusual. One of the guys in our group does paintings from his photographs and is now in galleries here in Southern California and Montana and has been in number of prestigious art shows. Another of our group has also been successful in art shows with his photographs, here and abroad. Art Patron Magazine last year did a story about our photo excursions."

Chatting With Sherri welcomes back author and screenwriter; Buzz Dixon!
CHEEKY -When troublemaker Dimbulb Gilhooey learns an old clothing-optional law is still on the books, he starts a movement that turns the town of Newbridge topsy-turvy. It's a summer of sun-baked shenanigans as Dimbulb and his followers challenge pastors, police, politicians, and public propriety for the right to bare arms -- as well as the rest of their bodies. Preposterous? Far-fetched? Utterly unbelievable? Maybe -- if it wasn't inspired by actual real life events! (cover art by Travis Hanson)"

Chatting With Sherri welcomes back crime novelist, editor and President of the Detection Club; Martin Edwards!
Martin Edwards has drawn on more than 30 years’ experience as a crime novelist. He is also an internationally acclaimed editor of crime anthologies for the British Library and other publishers. In addition to enjoying many years of success as a crime writer, he is the only person to have been elected to serve as Chair of the Crime Writers’ Association and President of the Detection Club at the same time. This experience gives him a special understanding of the challenges facing crime writers. Having combined his writing life with more than 30 years as a partner in a law firm, he is ideally equipped to encourage aspiring novelists to write while coping with a day job or other commitments.
The Life of Crime: Unravelling the Mysteries of Fiction’s Favourite Genre-In the first major history of crime fiction in fifty years, The Life of Crime: Detecting the History of Mysteries and their Creators traces the evolution of the genre from the eighteenth century to the present, offering brand-new perspective on the world’s most popular form of fiction.
Coming soon from Martin Edwards; The House on Graveyard Lane-The woman in white—surreal artist Damaris Gethin—has invited a select group to the opening of her exhibit "Artist in Crime," held in the eerie subterranean Hades Gallery. As costumed models reenact famously violent deaths, the artist herself portrays Marie Antoinette on the day of her execution, complete with a guillotine on the stage. It's not a prop; within ten minutes of Rachel's promise to solve Damaris's future murder, the artist slips her neck into the collar of the device and the very real blade sends her head rolling at the feet of her horrified audience.
