Sherri’s Playhouse presents a very short tiny play called Mishpucha! It was originally for an under 10 minute play writing contest. But it was so personal and special I decided to do it on Sherri’s Playhouse. It is a very short re-imagining of the founding of my family in the US. It was a very personal project and I am very interested in chatting with my cast about bringing it to life.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes Patricia Hartmann a 90’s Supermodel who is now the creator of Runway Rogue!
The legendary Karl Lagerfeld who then featured Patricia in his Chanel shows after prompting her to have renowned hairdresser Yannick D’Ys cut her hair short for the iconic ‘Twiggy’ look. Karl also photographed her for his Chanel look book, and Patricia became somewhat of a muse for him at that time. Patricia iconic catwalk strut was coveted by the world’s top designers and landed her on the Runways for Dior, Versace, Valentino, YSL, Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta and many more
Patricia took a very hands on approach, and spent countless hours with a highly acclaimed cosmetic chemist to create luxurious and unique lip color formulas with plans to set a new standard, and make her mark yet again in the world of beauty. Chatting With Sherri Welcomes Producer/Director/Writer; Thunder Levin!
Thunder was born and raised in New York City, graduated from Hunter College High School, and received a BFA in Film from NYU before moving to Los Angeles at age 23. He credits the original Star Trek television series with opening his mind to both the wonders of science fiction and filmmaking as a child, while the original Star Wars solidified his desire to make movies when he grew up and led to; Mutant Vampire Zombies from the 'Hood! (2008)  American Warships (2012) and AE: Apocalypse Earth (2013), Sharknado (2013).

Amy Rigby has made a life out of writing and singing about life. With bands Last Roundup and the Shams in eighties NYC East Village to her solo debut Diary Of A Mod Housewife out of nineties Williamsburg; through a songwriting career in 2000s Nashville and during the past decade with duo partner Wreckless Eric, she’s released records on visionary independent labels Rounder, Matador, Signature Sounds and reborn Stiff Records as well as her and Eric’s own Southern Domestic Recordings.  The Old Guys, her first solo album in a dozen years, measures the weight of heroes, home; family, friends and time. Philip Roth and Bob Dylan, CD/cassette players, touring, the wisdom of age and Walter White, groupies, Robert Altman, egg creams and mentors are paid tribute. Chatting With Sherri welcomes actress; Erika Eleniak!
Erika Eleniak  began her acting career at the age of 10, starring in numerous productions for television, film, commercials and theater. Her first film role was in the science fiction blockbuster E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, by Steven Spielberg. Her film credit given was "Pretty Girl". 
It was directly after this, that Erika joined the original cast of the television series Baywatch (1989) and stayed there for the first two years. Erika decided to leave the series after it changed direction. She wanted to venture out into other avenues and so began a successful film career. Erika starred in such films as Under Siege, The Beverly Hillbillies, Chasers , A Pyromaniac's Love Story, Bordello of Blood, among many others. Erika did a film called Snowbound in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where she met and fell in love with Roch Daigle, a film technician. While Erika lived in Calgary, she did many independent films and cable movies, including some for Lifetime.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes wrestler, actress and author; Jeanne Basone!
Jeanne Basone is a professional wrestler, actress, model, and stuntwoman best known by her ring name Hollywood in the women’s wrestling syndicated television show G.L.O.W.  She and her costars were recently honored by the Cauliflower Alley Club, a fraternal professional wrestling organization, for their achievements in helping break the glass ceiling in the sport.She appeared in several all-female wrestling promotions including CRUSH, Beauty Slammers, and Hottest Ladies of Wrestling. She currently owns her own production company, Hollywould Productions, and travels around the world for appearances, comic conventions, and fan meet-and-greets.
Basone has appeared in numerous television series and films as an actress and stuntwoman,  Basone has been featured on the cover of magazines, and even had a comic book created for her.In 2017, Netflix debuted a fictional series about her rise from anonymity to worldwide fame called GLOW. The 1st and now 2nd season was so successful, it has been nominated for 10 Emmy awards.Jeanne is currently working on her first memoir.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes producer/writer Steven Rubin!
Rubin began his motion picture writing career when he acquired the theatrical remake rights to the ABC television series Combat! and sold his screenplay and the rights to Savoy Pictures and later Paramount. He made his producing debut for Showtime in 2001 on the baseball comedy Bleacher Bums, starring Peter Riegert, Brad Garrett, Wayne Knight and Charles Durning.  In 2002, for the Hallmark Channel, he produced the true World War II drama Silent Night, starring Linda Hamilton, which was nominated for four Canadian Television Academy Awards. 
     He served as executive producer on Archie’s Final Project, an indie teen dramedy that won the Best Picture award in its class at the Berlin Film Festvial in 2009, and 19 other Best Picture awards around the world. On the documentary front, he wrote, directed and produced East L.A. Marine: The Untold True Story of Guy Gabaldon for Virgil Films and Entertainment. He currently serves as executive producer on the documentary The Coolest Guy Movie Ever (2018, also for Virgil Films).
     He is the author of nine books, including: Secrets of the Great Science Fiction Films (Kino Verlag, 1984), The James Bond Films: A Behind the Scenes History (Arlington House, Crown Publishers, 1981, 1983), The Complete James Bond Movie Encyclopedia (Contemporary Books, 1990, 1995, McGraw-Hill, 2003), Combat Films: American Realism 1945-2010 (McFarland Books, 1981, 2010), The Cat Who Lived With Anne Frank, his first children’s picture book, co-written with David Lee Miller, and due from Penguin/Philomel in February 2019.
