Chatting With Sherri will be chatting with Dr. Janina Scarlet about Superhero Therapy!
Dr. Janina Scarlet is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a scientist, and a full-time geek. A Ukrainian-born refugee, she survived Chernobyl radiation and persecution. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 12 with her family and later, inspired by the X-Men, developed Superhero Therapy to help patients with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Her book, “Superhero Therapy” come out on December 1, 2016 in the U.K. and will release on August 1, 2017 in the U.S.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes back author Lee Murray!
Sherri welcomes New Zealand writer Lee Murray, to talk about her June book release Hounds of the Underworld, the first book in a collaborative supernatural crime-noir series which she has co-written with her Kiwi colleague Dan Rabarts. Lee talks about the collaborative writing process, both the pleasures and the pitfalls, as well as working with overseas publishers.
On the verge of losing her laboratory, her savings, and all respect for herself, Penny Yee lands her first contract as scientific consult to the police department. And with seventeen murder cases on the go, the surly inspector is happy to leave her to it. Only she’s going to need to get around, and that means her slightly unhinged little brother, that is, her adopted brother, Matiu, will be doing the driving. But something about the case spooks Matiu, something other than the lack of a body in the congealing pool of blood in the locked room at the warehouse, or that odd little bowl…
Matiu doesn’t like anything about this case, from the voices that screamed at him when he touched that bowl, to the way his hateful imaginary friend Makere has come back to torment him but Penny isn’t giving up on her big break. But the deeper they get, the more Matiu realizes that they’ll have to fall into hell before they have any chance walking away. And hell is a long way down.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes playwright and author; Bill Goodwin!
Bill Goodwin is an award winning playwright and fiction author from rural Kansas. A public educator for the last twenty years, Bill has won best fiction honors from the Kansas Writer's Association, and best play honors from the Oklahoma Writer's Federation. He has penned a dozen or so plays, including several melodramas, two audio plays, and the full length "juke box" musical, "Finding Home". Bill founded and operated the Frontier Stage Community Theater in Hill City Kansas, and has worked with high schools and community theaters across Kansas. In May, Bill's full length gothic ghost story, Five Story House, will be be broadcast by the Shoestring Radio Theater, a nationally syndicated radio drama program broadcast on 111 stations in 34 states and Montreal, Canada. Bill is in the process of launching own audio drama website, the DARCAST, this summer.

Rebecca developed an early love for the unusual. Dragons, vampires and all manner of magical beings haunt her thoughts and stir her to the keyboard. She currently lives between the Smoky and Cumberland mountains with her husband and four cats. Her first YA novel, Fanny & Dice, was released on Halloween 2015. Her upcoming vampire short story collection will be released in 2016. She's working on both short and long fiction on her own and with co-conspirators.
