Wednesday Jun 08, 2016

On Chatting With Sherri will chat with talented author LJ Hachmeister about inspiration and her books;
The Triorion series follows the lives of triplet siblings Jetta, Jaeia, and Jahx Kyron. As human children living on an alien world, they must resort to extraordinary—and oftentimes deadly—measures to survive. But relying on their secret telepathic talents comes at a high cost, putting themselves, and those they love, in danger. With death at their heels and an ancient evil at their fingertips, the siblings must decide how to use their gifts in a time of war, even if it means tearing apart entire worlds—or each other—to save the galaxy.
“Gritty and engrossing. You will be captivated by the danger, the determination, and the love of these three siblings—two sisters, one brother…one heart, one mind, and one grand adventure.” — Kevin J. Anderson, New York Times bestselling author of The Dark Between the Stars.

On this episode of Chatting With Sherri we chat with  Andy Rickert to chat about his book; Walton 2016.
Along with coaching, I worked as a pizza delivery driver and night club bouncer for 7 years. My experiences during that time inspired me to write my first book, titled Delivery Up: Memoirs of a Pizza Guy. I initially started pleasure writing (History is ALL writing) about my experiences as a coach, lifter, and fighter; but truly fell in love with the craft while describing my experiences as I traveled across Southeast Asia.

Walton 2016 is a dystopian satirical look at the current environment and potential future of America under a president that looks startlingly like Donald Trump. It follows an American refugee on a Merchant ship turned refugee boat as they flee Mad Man Walton and his wall. My inspiration for the book, outside of the current political climate, was a mix of Charlie Chaplins "The Great Dictator" and Dr. Strangelove.

Chatting With Sherri welcomes back talented author RM Alexander to chat about her newest book; The Determined You!
Lil Reed will soon be the envy of every red-blooded female: her future brother-in-law is Hollywood A-lister Grey Richards. Arriving in L.A. with plenty of preconceived notions of the sexy actor, she finds him to be anything but the characters he portrays. Grey is surly, argumentative, and distant. She should walk away– only the constant threats push them together.
Grey Richards has no real ax to grind against Lil Reed. She's nice enough, spunky, fun loving. But he also has no intention in dating outside of the Hollywood circles, especially not a woman who follows gossip rags. Those kind of women are good for a career, not so great for a heart. But when it becomes clear someone is still after the Reed sisters, or the Richards brothers, he can't ignore the need to protect her. Can he pay the price with his heart on the line, even if she can see behind the glamour?

Tuesday Apr 26, 2016

This week on Chatting With Sherri we will chat with author Jeff Crawford about his latest work; Fields Of Ghosts!
 " Fields Of Ghosts" is a story that spans 150 years and puts light on a culture that has been developed, refined, and bastardized since its inception. Few know of the practice in this town and fewer still would approve. The question that begs to be answered is will Rob and Jennifer buy into the doctrine of the town as they are being groomed to do, or will they get past their own problems and work together to save themselves. It will come down to a matter of trust, and trusting each other may be the hardest part of this whole bizarre affair for this couple.
